Two Pineapples, weird name right? But is it really....Nope not at all! If you think about a pineapple its rather pretty but very mysterious looking with the green leafs coming out the top and the small brown spikes covering its body. At the same time the inside is a beautiful, bright yellow with a sweet and juicy taste. Myself Annaliese and my best friend Devin came up with the idea to write a blog together but we were stuck on the name. I wanted it to be quirky and she wanted it to be simple. A few names were thrown around before we finally settled on Two Pineapples. So what's the reason we decided to stick with a name about a tropical fruit? The name has a lot more meaning to me, (Annaliese) but I also like thinking about things and coming up with deeper meaning for them. A pineapple to me is very quirky, I mean who would have thought something so odd looking would be so sweet and juicy on the inside. Well someone took the chance and tried the little guy and found out how wonderful he is! Well Devin and I are a lot like pineapples. For one we are both brunets and a little blonde on the inside. Hahaha! We are both hard to get inside and get to know, but once you are past the outer shell you will see how sweet we truly are. Yellow has always been a very bright and happy color me, I like to think of myself as a very bright and happy person. Devin has brought so much brightness and joy into my life I cannot even begin to put it into words (hence why she is bright and happy like the inside of a pineapple). Being a tropical fruit it can also relate to the beautiful beaches we live next too, but I think that just adds to the quirkiness of the name. That begins to explain the meaning of our blog's name Two Pineapples, but doesn't quite tell the whole story. Maybe one day I will be able to put the full meaning into words. Until then this will have to do.
P.S. I kinda lied the name is totally weird! But weird is the new cool so it's ok.
